All Around For SandFest 2009!
|
By
all accounts, SandFest 2009 was a
blast! The 50's theme combined
with delicious food, perfect weather,
great music, vintage automobiles and
the beautiful ambiance afforded by our
beachfront location resulted in a very
memorable event for the 400+
attendees.
THANK
YOU to all who attended; to
event Co-Chairs Tom Kouvatsos and
Russell Matthes for their outstanding
leadership; to Sysco, Village Cafe,
Daiquiri Deck Raw Bar, The Broken Egg,
Marie's Italian Kitchen, The Lobster
Pot and Captain Curt's Crab &
Oyster Bar for their generous food
service sponsorship; to the many
donors to the Chinese Auction; and,
last but not least, to the many
volunteers who did the heavy lifting!
The no. 1 question asked afterward
was, "How will you top that next
year?" All we can say at
this point is - hold on to your seats,
folks, you ain't seen nothing yet!
